About us
|
 The first practice in St Boswells was opened in 1900 by Bob Connochie, one of four veterinary surgeon brothers from Selkirk. Iain Chalmers and then Jim Scott carried on the practice until John Reed took over and was joined over the years by the current partners. Since the 1970s the practice has grown from two vets to the present four. As a matter of interest, John Reed is married to Alison who is the daughter of Iain Chalmers and the granddaughter of Bob Connochie!
There are two surgeries the main one being in St Boswells the second situated in Jedburgh where you can also make appointments.

Xray, Endoscope, Ultrasound, Dental Scaler and Polisher, Pharmacy, Vetscan blood testing equipment and some laboratory equipment. Two consulting rooms, operating room and kennels. All the features that are expected.

Opening Hours
St Boswells – Monday to Friday 08.30 to 19.30. Outwith these times there is always one of our partners on duty to handle emergencies.
Appointments are made between 09.00 and 10.00, 14.00 and 15.00 and there is an open consultation hour between 18.00 and 19.00.
At Jedburgh there is an open consultation hour between 16.30 and 17.30
